what in your life really amazes/pleases/gratifies/encourages you?

people who are real friends, my maturity and self restraint when dealing with dramatic situations, saving money, simple trips, beautiful moments with the right scenery and the right soundtrack.

green eyes.

"your eyes are real green" she says. 

"what do you mean, like she paints them or something?" he quips. 

my eyes were once brown.  

i suppose there has been a metamorphosis over the course of my 24 years of life. 
here i am, part of the 2% of the population with jaded eyes.
