green eyes.

"your eyes are real green" she says. 

"what do you mean, like she paints them or something?" he quips. 

my eyes were once brown.  

i suppose there has been a metamorphosis over the course of my 24 years of life. 
here i am, part of the 2% of the population with jaded eyes.
